    Superdotação: Uma Neurodivergência Evolutiva ou um Aprimoramento Cognitivo?

    A superdotação pode ser considerada uma neurodivergência, pois o cérebro de uma pessoa superdotada se desenvolve de maneira diferente do neurotípico. No entanto, enquanto o termo neurodivergência é frequentemente associado a transtornos mentais, a superdotação é melhor compreendida como uma neurodivergência evolutiva. Isso implica que a superdotação representa um aprimoramento das capacidades cognitivas e emocionais, em vez de uma disfunção. Este estudo tem como objetivo buscar comprovações, através de revisões bibliográficas, que corroborem essa afirmação, determinando se este conceito é válido ou não.
