(2020) Alberto Vargas Nuñez; Marco Antonio Barrientos Pinto
The present work was carried out at the  Agroforestry and Agro-administrative Research Center “El Banado”, in the municipality of Monteagudo, Chuquisaca - Bolivia. The objective was to evaluate the behavior of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) in succession Agroforestry Systems (SAFs), to improve the productive diversification of the region. The methodology used was based on the establishment of a passion fruit plot in agroforestry systems under a stratified design. The evaluated variables of the passion fruit were: plant height and stem diameter and in the bean: plant height, leaf area, number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod and grain yield (kg / ha). The results obtained report that, for the height of the passion fruit plant, the highest height reached 253.00 cm at six months, while at four months the plant height obtained an average of 85.68 cm. In beans, the highest number of pods was obtained in the Pallar de Colores variety with 13.18 pods / plant. For the variable yield, it was observed that the variety Frejol negro reached 927.73 kg / ha, followed by Pallar Blanco with 883.18 kg / ha, concluding that these are the varieties that provided the best yields in the production of the bean.
