Extracción diferencial de vanadio, níquel y hierro a partir de los licores de lixiviación de los residuos de combustión de coque de petróleo
(1987) B Elizabetta Orlandoni de; Abilio Naranjo
Liquid-liquid differential extraction using D2EPHA dissolved in kerosene is studied for V, Ni and Fe rich leaching liquor from Orinoco fuel oil coque ashes and so is done for the reextraction process. It has been determined not only pH and adjusting reactive, D2EPHA-kerosene concentration, organic-aqueous relation but also kinetics and extraction equilibrium. Similary, acid concentration, kinetics and equilibrium have been determined for the reextraction process. Vanadium maximum extraction (96 %) is obtained in ammoniacal medium, pH 5, organic-aqueous relation 0,75:1, D2EPHA-kerosenne concentration 5 % and stirring time 5 minutes.Since Ni forms amine-complex, it is not extracted, always remaining in the aqueous phase. Reextraction using HCl 1N separates Fe from V, which remains in the aqueous phase.

Vanadio a partir de los residuos de combustión de coque de petróleo. Precipitación
(1986) B Elizabetta Orlandoni de; Rubys Hernández
Different proccesses to precipitate Vanadium from solutions gotten by H2SO4 leaching of combustion residues of Venezuelan fuel oil cocke are tried. Using NaClO4, it is recovered 85% of vanadium as V2O4 and Fe, Ni and V sulphates. Using NaOH and NaClO4, it is recovered 20% of vanadium as Na3V04.16H2O Using HClO4, it is recovered 60% of vanadium as impure V2O5.
