Item type: Item , Inventario de abejas y avispas apoideas (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) del Parque Nacional Guanahacabibes, Pinar del Río, Cuba(2021) Dayron BretoThe Guanahacabibes National Park, Pinar del Rio, characterizes itself for the good shape of conservation and the diversity of ecosystems. The aim of this study was to present data of composition and endemism of bees and apoid wasps of this reserve. A rapid biological inventory at four localities of Guanahacabibes National Park was implemented using observational records, targeted netting, pan traps and collections data. The observations and captures were performed at the main vegetal formations. Variable paths in length were traveled between the coastal vegetation and the semideciduous forest. Fifty-eight species were recorded, corresponding to 42 genera and six families. Richest families were Crabronidae y Apidae with 17 and 15 species respectively. Fourteen endemic species were identified and considered conservation targets to this protected area.Item type: Item , Type catalogue of Hymenoptera (Insecta) housed in the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Cuba(Q15088586, 2024) Sandra Duarte; Dayron BretoA total of 26 holotypes and 125 paratypes of Hymenoptera housed in the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Cuba are catalogued. Original publications were reviewed to compile all accompanying information and verify the status of the material. Data on the specimens are provided, grouped by families, and holotypes were photographed, making them more accessible for study by the scientific community. In addition, as Camponotus taino Snelling & Torres, 1998 is an unresolved homonym of C. taino Fontenla, 1997, we propose Camponotus boriquen as a replacement name for the former.
