Item type: Item , 11ra OLIMPIADA CIENTÍFICA ESTUDIANTIL PLURINACIONAL BOLIVIANA – ETAPA NACIONAL. 27ma OLIMPIADA BOLIVIANA DE FÍSICA – EXAMEN DE PRESELECCIÓN PARA LA XXVIII OLIMPIADA IBEROAMERICANA DE FISICA(2024) EVARISTO MAMANI CARLO; DIEGO SANJINÉS CASTEDO; RALJEVIC; SubietaWe report the tests and solutions corresponding to the Olympiad events referred to in the Article title. For the Bolivian Plurinational Scientific Olympiad 3rd, 4th and 5th grade secondary school students took presential traditional tests in each Bolivian department in December 2022. Of the 66 classified students, a total of 18 medals (gold, silver, bronze) were awarded. For the Bolivian Physics Olympiad, a preselection test was taken by 13 shortlisted students of whom 4 were selected to conform the delegation for the XXVIII Ibero-American Physics Olympiad held in Costa Rica in September 2023. The relevance of the Bolivian Physics Olympiad and the Bolivian Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad program, as an incentive for the study of physics in Bolivia, can be consulted in the Rev. Bol. Fis. 39 (2021). In the present article we report only those tests corresponding to the physics section of the programItem type: Item , CASOS DE LOCALIZACION DINÁMICA EXACTA BAJO LA APROXIMACIÓN SEMICLÁSICA(2021) EDSON ANGHELO GARCIA FORONDA; DIEGO SANJINÉS CASTEDO; EVARISTO MAMANI CARLOIn this work we apply results from the semiclassical method and time-average techniques to a one-dimensional lattice described by a tight-binding Hamiltonian with long-range interactions to all neighbors. The charged particle moves in the lattice in the presence of an external homogeneous and rapidly oscillating electric field. Such a semiclassical application corresponds to the Dignam and de Sterke theorem referred to as the phenomenon of “exact dynamic localization” (EDL). This theorem has been deduced within the quantum formalism by the authors. To illustrate the validity of EDL, several external electric fields were chosen in this work. The results indicate that the semiclassical and the quantum formalism are equivalent and yield the same conditions for EDL.Item type: Item , HAMILTONIANO EFECTIVO DE UNA RED CUADRADA DE ENLACE FUERTE Y SU RELACIÓN CON UN CIRCUITO LC DE DOS MALLAS CON CARGA DISCRETA(2021) EVARISTO MAMANI CARLO; M. Calcina-Nogales; DIEGO SANJINÉS CASTEDOWe consider an extended tight-binding Hamiltonian function comprising nearest and next-to-nearest neighbor interactions for a charged particle hopping in a square lattice in the presence of a static arbitrary field and a rapidly oscillating uniform field with frequency ω. The application of the semiclassical method and the Kapitza’s method for time-averaging up to O(ω-2) yields an effective (time independent) Hamiltonian function with long range hopping elements that depend on the parameters of the external fields. By controlling these parameters we can engineer the interactions in such a way as to emulate a different physical system, namely, a two-mesh LC circuit with discrete charge.
