    Estado, capitalismo e indios: los kajchas (cooperativistas) mineros en Potosí

    En agosto de 2006, en el primer Gobierno de Evo Morales, Walter Villarroel juraba como nuevo ministro de mineria. La posesion no hubiera sido mas que un dato si no fuera porque Villarroel era un expresidente de las Cooperativas mineras, un grupo de indigenas empresarios mineros que habian logrado surgir como una nueva elite economica y politica en el pais. En el articulo trato de mostrar las condiciones historicas de surgimiento de estos nuevos empresarios, su lucha permanente con el Estado, su condicion de marginalidad etnica y como el neoliberalismo se constituye en el espacio ideal para el avance de sus intereses economicos, mismos que luego se consolidaran con el Estado Plurinacional al frente del gobierno indigena del Movimiento al Socialismo.Palabras clave: economia indigena, capitalismo, indios, cooperativismo. SummaryIn August of 2006, in the text of the Government of Evo Morales, Walter Villarroel was sworn in as the new minister of mining. The possession would have been only a good time, but it was not because Villarroel was a former president of the mining cooperatives, a group of indigenous people, the miners who have emerged as a new economic and political elite in the country. The article tries to show the historical conditions of the emergence of these new entrepreneurs, their permanent struggle with the state, their condition of ethnic marginality and how neoliberalism is integrated into the ideal space for the advancement of their economic interests. Consolidate with the Plurinational State at the head of the indigenous government of the Movement to Socialism.Key words: indigenous economy, capitalism, Indians, cooperativism
