Item type: Item , Hydroformylation reactions of the trans-Mo(CO)4(p-C5NH4SO3NA)2 complex in biphasic medium(Akadémiai Kiadó, 2008) Trino Suárez; Bernardo Fontal; Ghery Zambrano; Marisela Reyes; Fernándo Bellandi; R. Contreras; Juan Carlos Dı́az; Pedro Cancines; Yuraima Fonseca; Isolda RomeroTrans-bis(sodium pyridine-p-sulphonate)tetracarbonylmolybdenum(0) complex, (trans-Mo(CO)4(p-PySO3Na)2, (1)) was used as a catalytic precursor for the 1-hexene hydroformylation reaction, in biphasic toluene/water medium (T = 100°C, syngas total pressure = 600 psi, pH2/pCO = 1). Complex (1) showed good activity favoring the linear aldehyde. Likewise as other organic olefin substrates and with synthetic and real naphtha, good conversions to oxygenated products were obtained.Item type: Item , Síntesis, caracterización espectroscópica y electroquímica de complejos de níquel(II) y cobalto(II) con nuevos ligandos N2S2,N,N’-alquil-bis(2-amino-1-ciclopentencarboditioato de etilo y bencilo)(2010) R. Contreras; José Aranguren; Fernándo Bellandi; A. Gutiérrez; Isolda Romero; Greis ColtThe synthesis of nickel(II) and cobalt(II) complexes with the new nitrogen-sulphur ligands, ethyl-N,N'-alkylbis(2–amino–1– cyclopentencarbodithioate) with alkyl = ethylene (L1), propylene (L2), butyl (L3) and benzyl-N,N'-butyl-bis(2–amino–1– cyclopentencarbodithioate) (L4), and their characterization (UV-Visible, FTIR, 1H- and 13C- NMR, elemental analysis, mass spectra and cyclic voltametry) are reported. The spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of metallic complexes have a potential importance as models in inorganic biomimetic.Item type: Item , Synthesis and characterization of trans-Mo(CO)4(p-C5NH4SO3Na)2(Akadémiai Kiadó, 2008) Trino Suárez; Bernardo Fontal; Ghery Zambrano; Marisela Reyes; Fernándo Bellandi; R. Contreras; Juan Carlos Dı́az; Pedro Cancines; Yuraima Fonseca; Isolda RomeroReaction between Mo(CO)6 and p-C5NH4SO3Na (1:2 (Mo: p-C5NH4SO3Na) stoichiometric ratio) gave the trans-Mo(CO)4(p-C5NH4SO3Na)2 complex, (1), in 80% yield. Complex (1) has been characterized by FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Complex (1) has most likely an idealized D4h geometry with trans N-bound p-C5NH4SO3Na ligands.
