This leadership, understood as the ability of teachers and educational managers to guide, motivate and structure effective training processes, has a direct impact on the quality of education and the professional performance of future health care workers.Objective: To determine the relationship between academic leadership and the learning achievements of professionals in training in the health field.Methods: Quantitative, basic or pure, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research.Results: A correlation coefficient Rho=0.918 for the study variables, and a value of p=0.000.Conclusions: Academic leadership plays a crucial role in the formation of competent students, capable of facing the challenges of the work environment and providing quality services. This study highlights the importance of implementing professional development programs focused on transformational leadership skills, effective formative assessment and innovative pedagogical strategiesItem type: Item , Financial Literacy and Perceived Economic Well-Being among Peruvian Health Sciences University Students(2023) David Hugo Bernedo-Moreira; Yesenia Tania Loayza-Apaza; María Magdalena Portilla-Linares; Jorge Valdez-Portilla; Dina Emetria Chavez-Bellido; Rafael Romero-CarazasIntroduction: The interaction between these two variables is particularly relevant in educational contexts, where university students in health-related careers face specific challenges that impact both their financial literacy and their perception of economic well-being.Objective: To determine the relationship between financial literacy and the perception of economic well-being in Peruvian university students of health sciences.Methods: Basic or pure, non-experimental, correlational research.Results: A correlation coefficient Rho=0.998 for the study variables, and a value of p=0.000.Conclusions: The relationship between financial literacy and perception of economic well-being is statistically significant and very strong, this result underlines the importance of financial literacy as a predictor of economic well-being in this population, with relevant implications for designing specific educational and financial policies and interventions. This educational model, focused on the development of specific skills, promotes meaningful learning that responds to the needs of the work and social environment.Objective: To determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievements in competency-based educational environments in health sciences.Methods: Quantitative, basic or pure, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research.Results: A correlation coefficient r=0.732 for the study variables, and a value of p=0.023.Conclusions: Interpersonal regulation, emotional perception and understanding appear as critical competencies that educational programs should prioritize, especially in a field such as health sciences, where emotional and interpersonal skills are indispensable in both learning and professional practice. As emotional intelligence increases, learning achievements show more accelerated growthItem type: Item , Teacher training and development of competencies in primary health care in Peruvian university students of health sciences(2023) David Hugo Bernedo-Moreira; Yesenia Tania Loayza-Apaza; Héctor Fredy Pacompía Quispe; María Magdalena Portilla-Linares; Jorge Valdez-Portilla; Yaneth Fernández-ColladoIntroduction: In the field of health sciences education, the relationship between teacher training and the development of competencies in primary health care in university students is a key issue to ensure comprehensive and relevant training to the current demands of the health system.Objective: To determine the relationship between teacher training and the development of competencies in primary health care in Peruvian university students of health sciences.Methods: Quantitative, basic or pure, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research.Results: A correlation coefficient r=0.823 for the study variables, and a value of p=0.001.Conclusions: The results support the importance of teacher training in improving different critical aspects in primary health care. The strong association with all the variables analyzed highlights that investing in teacher training can have a significant impact on the quality of services, from the personalization of care to the optimal use of resources. The stronger relationship with the family approach could indicate that training has a particularly important effect on this aspect. This result reinforces the importance of strengthening teacher training to improve professional competencies in the evaluated contexts.
