    Influence of Personality and Self-esteem on Procrastination among College Students

    Every individual is committed to various activities in their life. Due to some additional responsibilities, they tend to forget or fail to complete their tasks. In today’s educational setting, college students are compelled to engage in various curricular and co-curricular activities for a short duration. In these circumstances, procrastination appears, and students tend to postpone their academic work. The present study aims to determine the relationship between personality, self-esteem and procrastination among college students and whether personality and self-esteem influence procrastination behaviours. The result indicates that procrastination is significantly related to neuroticism, agreeableness and conscientiousness.
