    Analisis multifactorial y optimizacion de Normal Butano (NC4) en un proceso de fraccionamiento

    Este trabajo utiliza el Diseno Factorial Experimental, para determinar las variables que afectan la calidad de Normal Butano (NC4), obtenido en el fraccionamiento de Liquidos del Gas Natural, en la Torre Separadora de Butanos, del Complejo Criogenico de Oriente. Se experimenta para lograr el Control Estadistico del Proceso, mediante las significancias de las variables Flujo de Alimentacion,  Temperatura de la Bandeja 28 entre y la Temperatura del Rehervidor de Fondo de la Torre, que permitan operar si el control avanzado senala incomunicacion con el sistema de cromatografia en linea. Se realiza el analisis de estas variables experimentales para cumplir las exigencias de comercializacion internacional, lograndose conseguir la operacion eficiente del efecto cruzado de las variables Flujo de Alimentacion a 300 gpm y Temperatura del Rehervidor de Fondo de la Torre  con temperatura de 165 or 167 oF con un porcentaje molar del 98,11% muy superior al requerido internacionalmente de 97%.

    Diseño factorial aplicado a un experimento de maquinado

    This paper presents an optimizing method to set the working conditions of a shaper. Using the Factorial Design Method, it has been posible to determine the influence of the working variables on the surface finish or rugosity of the work piece; these variables can be studied one, two or three at a time. As a result, it has been possible to obtain the ranges where thp tting variables significantly affect surface finish.

    Factores incidentes en el acabado superficial de piezas mecanizadas con limadora

    In this paper, an analysis has been done on the variables involved in the surface finish of a workpiece as produced by a shaper machine. The results of many experiments have been fitted into an equation which closely fredicts actual rugosity. This equation is quite different from that proposed by Boothryd.
