    Acoso Escolar: Un análisis contextual en escuelas secundarias venezolanas desde el reporte de víctimas y perpetradores

    El acoso escolar es un problema creciente en las escuelas venezolanas. En este trabajo analizamos este fenómeno partiendo de un enfoque ecológico y atendiendo a las particularidades conceptuales y metodológicas inherentes al contexto en estudio. Con la finalidad de aportar a una base de datos sistemática frente a la escasa investigación sobre acoso escolar en el país, se muestran los resultados de un estudio exploratorio para identificar esta conducta en adolescentes entre 11 a 19 años en cuatro escuelas secundarias de la ciudad de Merida. Se discrimina la frecuencia en cuanto a victimización y perpetración, su relación con el género y el tipo de escuela (publica vs. privada) a in de ampliar la comprensión según el nivel socioeconómico de los participantes. Los resultados confirman la existencia de acoso escolar en la muestra estudiada, particularmente en conductas de acoso verbal (burlas y sobrenombres) y acoso no verbal (rumores e indiferencia), así como mayor incidencia en las escuelas públicas sobre las privadas.     El educador y la familia disfuncional

    The family has had universal functions since its early origin. Among them, we find reproduction, protection, socialization, social control, child status, and emotion control. The way these functions are carried out varies according to cultural society. Social control and socialization are shared with the school. Education has a central role because it helps create interpersonal relations. Likewise, the school becomes the place where family problems may be discussed and sent to specialists.

    Positive Psychology (Garassini and Zavarce, 2010), a new approach of the discipline of psychology, was created to determine the characteristics, processes, and conditions that help optimal human functioning or flourishing. Three core concepts are studied, namely, emotion-affection, cognition-value, and social ties. This work analyzes systematically these concepts from education, and pursues to promote teaching and learning process from and towards happiness. This implies that teachers should learn to know themselves and their duties, and to have values, and goals. Thus, harmonic and happy spaces may be guaranteed.

    School bullying: A contextual analysis in Venezuelan secondary schools from perpetrators’ and victims’ reports

    Bullying is a growing worry in Venezuelan schools, which is analyzed from an ecological approach addressing conceptual and methodological peculiarities inherent to the context. In order to provide a systematic database for the small number of research on bullying in the country, we present the outcomes of an exploratory study to identify this behavior in adolescents aged 11-19 years in four secondary schools in Merida city. he frequency of victimization and perpetration is discriminated in relation to the gender and the type of school (private vs. public), in order to consider the socioeconomic status. he outcomes conirm bullying in the sample studied, particularly in verbal behaviors (joking and nicknames) and nonverbal behaviors (rumors and indiference) and higher incidents in public schools.     Un modo de conocer y entender la epistemología a través de las películ as: “EL hombre de la Rosa” y “Einstein y Eddington”

    En las siguientes lineas se encontrara con una disertacion del seminario de epistemologia e investigacion en educacion, del mismo modo, un pequeno analisis epistemologico a traves de la observacion de dos peliculas tituladas “El nombre de la rosa” y “Einstein y Eddington” para ello, se tomo en cuenta el libro de Alan Chalmers (2000) ?Que es esa cosa llamada ciencia? Destacando de esta manera la relevancia de la observacion, el elaborar preguntas y la busqueda de la verdad en el proceso de investigacion. Asimismo, el principio de falsacion en una teoria. Se finaliza con algunas conclusiones en relacion al seminario y del trayecto de investigacion durante la tesis doctoral.
