    Merleau-Ponty shares with jewish fenomenologist the conception of a located existence, but paradoxically establishes a sort of dialectic between an existence quasi impersonal and anonymous and the personal action (see Phenomenology of Perception). The tacit or presuppost character of the relationship between the subject and the world and the others has incidence in the conformation of its identity. The identity is understood from an existential or vital viewpoint in contrast to an intellectual viewpoint. The last chapter of Phenomenology of Perception devoted to freedom has been chosen. This choice is justified because it allows establishing points of contact with some of the ideas exposed by E. Stein in the first chapters of her work Psychic Causality.

    Presencia telemática y presencia personal humana. Una aproximación desde Tomás de Aquino y Merleau-Ponty

    Los avances tecnológicos informáticos, catalizados por la reciente pandemia, han promovido las interacciones humanas telemáticas. En el lenguaje corriente, este tipo de intercambio suele contrastarse con una presencia que se describe como “física” o “corporal”. Cabe preguntarse, no obstante, qué es lo propio y distintivo de esta presencia cuando ella está referida a entidades personales, es decir, a cuerpos personales o, si se prefiere, a personas corporalizadas. En este artículo examinamos esta cuestión desde una perspectiva ontológica de inspiración tomista, pero en diálogo con las ricas especulaciones que nos ha dejado Maurice Merleau-Ponty sobre la presencia y percepción humana.
