    La primera década del siglo XXI en América Latina se caracterizó por el giro a la izquierda de los electorados latinoamericanos, como una realidad que alcanzó a la mayoría de los países de la región: Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay Brasil, Argentina, Chile y Uruguay. La segunda década del siglo está marcada por el fin del tiempo de los altos precios de las materias primas, y la región experimenta una crisis económica que, junto a otros factores, promueve y genera en varios países recambio político muchas veces acompañado de crisis política. | The first decade of the 21st century in Latin America was characterized by the turn to the left of the Latin American electorates, as a reality that reached most of the countries in the region: Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. The second decade of the century is marked by the end of the time of high prices of raw materials, and the region experiences an economic crisis that, along with other factors, promotes and generates political change in several countries often accompanied by political crisis.
