Additional records for 21 bryophytes that were previously little known in Bolivia, including several from the isolated Chiquitano low mountain ranges, are given. Papillaria tenella Herzog and the name Papillaria diversifolia Herzog nom. nud. are identical to Toloxis imponderosa (Taylor) W.R. Churchill; Reinaldo LozanoAn inventory of the bryophytes from Tucuman-Bolivian montane forest of Bolivia resulted in 374 species distributed among 184 genera and 70 families; liverworts are represented by 97 species, 42 genera, 20 families; hornworts by a single species, genus and family; and mosses by 276 species, 141 genera, 49 families. Twenty-seven percent of the known Bolivian bryophytes are present in the Tucuman-Bolivian montane forest.
