Item type: Item , Determinación del tiempo y frecuencia de riego para el sistema de riego por goteo en uva en viñedos Altagracia estado Lara(2014) Ricardo Trezza Peña; A. G. del Rosario; Libert SánchezThe work was developed on lands located at the Altagracia vineyard in the state of Lara, Venezuela, were several variety of grapes are cultivated for the wine production in Bodegas Pomar C.A. The study area is characterized for a strong scarcity of both superficial and ground water, which makes necessary to conduct agronomical investigations to avoid the excessive use of irrigation water. In this work, several experiments were performed using the Chenin Blanc variety under trickle irrigation. Five treatments were considered in the experiment, varying the irrigation time and frequency. Treatments T1, T2, T3 had a daily irrigation frequency and irrigation times of 4,5, and 6 hours respectively. T4 has a daily irrigation frequency and a variable irrigation time, which corresponded to the time needed to apply a water depth corresponding to 110 % of the pan evaporation. Treatment T5 has an irrigation frequency of 2 days, which represented the normal irrigation operation. The experimental design consisted in a random block array was evaluated using variance analysis. The results indicated that the most desirable parameters, considering probable alcohol, pH, and total acidity were obtained from the T1 treatment. Treatment T3 obtained the best results with regard to total weight and number of fruitsItem type: Item , Estimación de la evapotranspiración de los cultivos utilizando imágenes satelitales LANDSAT 8 en el sistema de riego “El Cenizo”, Venezuela(2015) Ricardo Trezza Peña; Libert Sánchez Perdomo; G. NunezThe objective of this work is the estimation of crop evapotranspiration (ETc ) using satellite images on the “El Cenizo” irrigation system, Trujillo state, Venezuela. A Landsat 8 image, plataform launched in February 2013, was used in this study in order to obtain the normalized differences vegetation index (NDVI), which is taken as an indicator of the status of the vegetation and allows the estimation of the crop coefficient (Kc). Then, using weather data, specifically climatic stations adjacent to the study area, the crop evapotranspiration was calculated using the FAO-56 crop coefficient methodology. A 30 m spatial resolution map of crop evapotranspiration was produced as a result. Irrigation water requirements can be calculated from this information of evapotranspiration, which facilitates the operation of the “Agua Viva” reservoir.
