Item type: Item , Estudio comparativo de la Fuerza de Adhesión de dos sistemas adhesivos en las Técnicas SDD y SDI.(2016) Jessica Aguilera; Hemil Dario Rosales Molina; Noé Gregorio Orellana; Jenny F. Carrero T.; Víctor J. Setién D.; Maribí Isomar Terán Lozada; Robert Antonio Ramírez MolinaThe purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of immediate dentin sealing (IDS) using total-etch or self-etch dentin adhesives by mean of the microtensile bond strength test (μBts) to dentine of indirect composite restorations. Forty recently extracted molars were abraded flat to expose middle coronal dentin. The teeth were assigned to four (4) experimental groups (n=10) according to the indirect composite restoration cementation technique used. G1: delayed dentin sealing with Adper Single Bond 2 (DDS/SB2); (G2) delayed dentin sealing technique using One Coat bond (DDS/OCB); (G3) immediate dentin sealing using Single Bond (IDS/SB); (G4) immediate dentin sealing using one coat bond (IDS/OCB). An ISOMET 1000™ (Buehler) precision saw was used to obtain several microspecimens from samples, that were tested in tension a croohead speed of 1 mm/min up to failure in a universal testing machine. The MPa values obtained were analized with a univariate ANOVA (μBts) for adhesive and dentin sealing technique factors by mean of the using the SPSS 19.0® statistics software. P value was established at 0,05. μBts level adhesive p=0,006; with significant differences. Homogeneous groups, mean (MPa) and standard deviation were: SB2 (G1+G3): 24,12(9,7) ˃ OCB (G2+G4): 19,33(8,35). μBts level IDS p=0,005; with significant differences. Homogeneous groups, mean (MPa) and standard deviation were: IDS (G3+G4): 24,19(10,02) ˃ DDS (G1+G2): 19,26(7,92). Adhesive – IDS interaction was p=0,300; no significant statistical differences. Total-etch adhesive (SB2) resulted in higher bond strengths to dentin than self –etching adhesive (OCB) and IDS technique resulted in better bond strengths to dentin for both adhesives.Item type: Item , Re-adhesión de fragmento coronario en diente no vital utilizando resina compuesta como medio de retención intraradicular. reporte de un caso clínico: control 2 años.(2021) Cristina Urdaneta; Jesús Rodríguez Sánchez; Luis Felipe Rondón; Robert Antonio Ramírez MolinaDental traumas are the most common accidents in children and adolescents. The most frequent causes may be due to traffic accidents, sports activities, among others. Re-attachment consists of the union of the fragment to the remaining dental tissue through a composite resin. The objective of this report is to describe the re-attachment of the dental fragment from a clinical case as a long-term restorative treatment. This is a 10-year-old male patient who came to the clinic due to trauma to the upper right incisor; the clinical examination revealed that the fracture encompassed the pulp chamber. He was referred to the endodontic area and the fragment was immersed for 24 hours in physiological solution. etch and rinse technique (total etching) and Single Bond Universal 3M® adhesive was used, fluid resin was applied and both parts were light-cured, the occlusal adjustment, polished and postoperative radiography. The re-attachment of the fragment is a simple, fast, inexpensive and painless procedure for the patie t. The success is based on controlling certain factors such as humidity, the bonding process, and the accuracy between the margins to avoid periodontal damage in the short term.
