    Actualmente estamos inmersos en una nueva realidad y nuevos paradigmas, los mismos que surgen por el avance vertiginoso de las nuevas tecnologías de la información. En este contexto corresponde al derecho la función de regular y contribuir a la implementación, en forma eficaz, de estas nuevas tecnologías en nuestra sociedad. El avance de la tecnología también influye en la administración de justicia; es así que a fin de materializar los principios de economía y celeridad procesal, se incorpora en el nuevo código procesal civil, un nuevo medio de notificación a través de correo electrónico. | We are currently immersed in a new reality and new paradigms, the same that arise from the dizzying advance of new information technologies. In this context, it is the right to regulate and contribute to the effective implementation of these new technologies in our society. The advance of technology also influences the administration of justice; thus, in order to materialize the principles of economy and procedural celerity, a new means of notification via e-mail is incorporated in the new civil procedural code. | Capítulo 1.
