    Los estudiantes de educación media general y el estudio de la física

    RESUMEN Atendiendo a la importancia de la fisica en la conformacion de un profesional y de un ciudadano util a lasociedad, se investigo la apreciacion de los estudiantes de educacion media general sobre esta asignatura. Para ello se considero el estudio de los aspectos conativos y volitivos dependientes tanto de la asignatura como del profesor, todos como conformadores de rasgos motivacionales hacia la asignatura en cuestion. La investigacion se llevo a cabo a traves de encuestas realizadas a una muestra de 806 estudiantes de educacion media general. Los resultados conducen a conclusiones alentadoras, pues a pesar de que los estudiantes encuentran dificil la asignatura y se sienten poco competentes para la misma, reconocen su importancia, pero sobre todo, valoran positivamente a sus profesores, tanto desde el punto de vista de sus competencias personales, como de sus competencias pedagogicas. Media general education student and physical Abstract Considering the importance of physics in the formation of a professional and a useful citizen to society, the assessment of students in general secondary education on this subject is investigated. For this study was considered conative and volitional aspects of the subject both as teacher, all of motivational traits as building toward the subject in question. The research was conducted through surveys of a sample of 806 student’s in general secondary education. The results lead to encouraging conclusions, because even though students find the subject difficult and not very competent to feel it, recognize its importance, but mostly positively value their teachers, both from the point of view of their personal skills, and pedagogical skills.
