Item type: Item , Contesting Sacred Architecture: Politics of ‘Nation-State’ in the Battles of Mosques in Java(P3M STAIN Kudus, 2019) Achmad Fawaid; Zamroni Zamroni; Hasan Baharun<p><em>This study </em><em>aims to </em><em>figure out a ‘political’ contestation of sacred mosques in Java and the ways the Javanese respond to the global architecture of the Middle Eastern Islam. By </em><em>using </em><em>a </em><em>historical narrative method, this article describes</em><em> a fact that some ‘sacred’ architectures which shaped from the national mosques became a site of battles between the modern Islamic and traditional Javanese worldviews</em><em> and</em><em> explores the continuum debate over architecture, culture, and power of Islam in Java through various events since the fifteenth until today. This study, finally, </em><em>results in</em><em> the issues related to not merely the almost unsolved dispute over modern and traditional architectures, between pan-Islamic modernists and Javanese traditionalists, but most importantly, the past stories and silent ideology behind the building of these mosques, and by doing so, it also questions our primordial understanding of nation-state. </em></p>Item type: Item , Quality Assurance of Education in Senior High School during Covid-19 Pandemic(2021) Hasan Baharun; Akmal Mundiri; Zamroni Zamroni; Faizzatul JannahDuring the Covid-19 pandemic, SMA Nurul Jadid, Probolinggo, East Java created a quality assurance system to survive and win the rivalry between educational institutions. This study aims to understand the meaning behind quality assurance activities at SMA Nurul Jadid, Probolinggo using a qualitative case study approach. Researchers conducted interviews with committees, principals, vice-principals, teachers, and observations and documentation were carried out in this research. Data gathering, data reduction, display, and conclusion are steps in the data analysis process. The findings revealed that SMA Nurul Jadid's quality assurance system was implemented and evaluated through systematic planning, including numerous school members and the community, quality assurance implementation, and evaluation. This study has implications for the significance of educational institutions maintaining excellence to sustain the public trust built up over the years.Item type: Item , Quantum Attraction of Kyai’s Leadership in Indonesian Pesantren(Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Samarinda, 2022) Zamroni Zamroni; Akmal Mundiri; Hanifatur RodiyahThe inherent characteristics in a kyai become the primary source of the kyai's power in influencing his followers. One of kyai’s strong characteristics is the Quantum attraction. The leadership of the kyai with a quantum attraction approach can be referred as kyai’s simple action which can be very impactful for his followers. One of these approaches is carried out by kyai at the pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. With this approach, the figure of the kyai raises several forms of Quantum attraction behavior that can be used as role models by students as followers. The aim of this research is to understand the primary characteristics of kyai based on quantum attraction. The researcher in this study used a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology. For data collection, researchers used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis methods used by the researchers are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. This study indicates that the main characteristics of the leadership behavior of clerics based on quantum attraction are sincere, tawadhu, zuhud, pious, and waro' behaviors and attitudes.
