dc.description.abstractThis article will present the current state of the initial training of the future teachers as a foreign language in their linguistic, cultural and methodological dimensions in the University of the Andes in Trujillo, Venezuela. Mention foreign languages of the degree course in education ensures in parallel the acquisition of two foreign languages as well as general didactic training and that more particular of teaching - learning of languages. Similarly, the problems derived from the application of this training and its impact in the fi eld of secondary education, in particular as regards the choice of materials, the use of new technologies and the implementation of methodological principles in the language class will be addressed. The current training plan 95 will analyze and there will be a brief summary of the changes proposed for this mention, taking into account various research in this context.
