The poetic mastery of Luisa del Valle Silva is expressed in several works such as Ventanas de ensueno (Caracas, 1930), three books of poems published in La Habana in 1941, Humo(1926-1929), Amor (1929- 1940) andLuz (1930-1940), besides the book of poems for children entitled Amanecer, published in1968. However, the work Sin tiempo y sin espacio (1963) is the best work of all accomplished due to its thematic unity and linguistic richness. It is a posthumous book that tries to recover, through memory, the golden years of childhood which are the mythification of an age always present and transformed into eternity in the interiority of the poetess. This is a book that can be compared to Las memorias de Mama Blanca by Teresa de la Parra thanks to its charm, language newness and thematic motifs. This article studies the referred book of poems to claim its singularity as a rare auto biographic book because it is written in verse, which represents a different way to associate poetry and life.
