| dc.description.abstract | After the advent of the paradigm of the social and democratic State of law, the rights system is transformed in its normative and material base. University autonomy, traditionally founded in the illustrated models of defence against social pressures, has been affected by that transformation of the system of rights and, of course, mere insulating reactivity of the University regarding social pressures appears as a response deprecated in a sociological context that forces him to reconstruct his own concept of autonomy. Old and new models face in the discourse of the University autonomy, and the lack of common sense is present in more than one speech for the defence of the University. The two trials below are trying to understand the paths of the current discussion on autonomy, on the assumption that the reconceptualization of this autonomy is, simply, inevitable for an adequate guarantee of University freedoms | |
