La carrera contaduría pública en la ULA, Trujillo: 10 años de experiencia

Abstract

Among the options of Higher Education in the state Trujillo-Venezuela, the University of The Andes-Trujillo, has developed the career of Public Accounting, as a possibility of wide and innovative vocational training that allows the new professionals a field of work with advantages as for diversity and competitiveness. This career was born under the perspective to be assumed in its character of science and as an answer for the challenges that the exercise of the profession demands. After arriving to the first ten years it turns out to be important to describe the principal experiences indicating its origin, creation and evolution, as well as a the main characteristics of the plan of study, among them: the areas and content, the Special Work for a Degree and internships. Other relevant aspects related to students, former students and teachers are also approached. In order to do this project, documents were reviewed and the main protagonists were interviewed. Finally some new actions appear in order to recapture new ways in this stage of the career
