dc.description.abstractThe present essays analyzes two of the main currents of thought, rational choice and Managerialism, as intended for scientific and academic attempts to understand the some of the leading edges of the criticism the estrangement between democracy (its principles and political processes) and the public administration. It describes the route of both currents of thought and moved them to the crisis of democracy in the 1960s and 1970s; presenting the estrangement between administration and democracy as part of the system causes of that crisis.
