Los conocimientos previos en la comprensión de la lectura

Abstract

Se trata de una investigacion documental sobre la importancia de la lectura y el papel de los conocimientos previos en la comprension de la misma. Igualmente, se tratan estrategias didacticas como los mapas mentales y la prediccion. Estos dos recursos pueden ser utilizados por el docente para explorar los conocimientos que poseen sus alumnos antes de iniciar la lectura de un nuevo texto que lleve a la adquisicion de nuevos aprendizajes. Se ofrecen algunas orientaciones al/la docente para guiar la lectura y facilitar la comprension los alumnos. Palabras clave: escritura creativa; competencia literaria; produccion de textos. Abstract: This work is about a documental investigation in relation to the reading importance and the role of the previous knowledge in its comprehension. At the same time we find some didactic strategies as the mental maps and the prediction, both used as resources applied by the teacher in order to explore the knowledge that the student has before initiating the reading of a new text that takes to the acquisition of learning. We can also find some teaching advises very helpful to guide the reading and to make easier the comprehension to students. Key words: reading comprehension; mental maps; didactic strategies.
