The following article discusses Auguste Comte’s ideas about the philosophy of history on the law of States three, analyzing the distinctive traits of each stage, especially the kind of knowledge that accompanies. Similarly, different criteria established by Comte to sort and rank the sciences, to what he considered the social physics or who subsequently defi ned as sociology are presented
