This chapter explores the complex interplay of language, communication and media in agricultural development. Case studies from Mali, Malawi and Ecuador demonstrate how local languages, combined with visual storytelling and non-verbal cues, can effectively disseminate agricultural knowledge and foster community engagement. By highlighting the power of relatable content and authentic farmer voices, this chapter underscores the importance of culturally appropriate communication strategies in promoting agricultural innovation.
