Abstract
The community researchers Spintronics (name given to the electronic spin) hope that by compressing the behavior of the electron spin of the electron in materials, you can learn something fundamentally new about solid state physics, leading to a new generation of electronic devices based in the fl ow of spin in addition to the fl ow of charge. One advantage of spin over charge is that spin can be easily manipulated by externally applied magnetic fi elds, a property already in use in magnetic storage technology. Another more subtle (but potentially signifi cant) property of spin is its long coherence, or relaxation, time-once created it tends to stay that way for a long time, unlike charge states, which are easily destroyed by scattering or collision with defects, impurities or other charges. In fact, the spintronics dream is a seamless integration of electronic, optoelectronic and magnetoelectronic multifunctionality on a single device that can perform much more than is possible with today’s microelectronic devices. The purpose of this study framed in the fi eld of analytical and literature research is to present an overview on recent developments in Spintronics
