Cada mercado tiene características diferentes, por ende, los valores de los índices bursátiles en cada país son distintos y varían en función al comportamiento del mercado. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo la elaboración de un modelo de cálculo de índice bursátil acorde a la realidad financiera de Bolivia en base al sustento teórico y a los pilares ya establecidos, tales como el índice MERVAL de la Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires, IPSA Select de la Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago y el S&P/BVL Select de la Bolsa de Valores de Lima, y su posterior operacionalizacion.The stock market indexes in the stock market are perceived as a decisional tool. Every market has different characteristics, therefore, the values of the indixes in each country are different and varies depending on the behavior of the market.
