Field study, descriptive and transversal, with a sample population of 30 nurses, for which a questionnaire type self-administered instrument, which consisted of three parts was used: sociodemographic and occupational data, motivational factors and hygiene factors, the latter two with Likert scale of five options: always almost always, sometimes, rarely, never. As for the motivational factors describe that: always the nursing professional makes you feel accomplished personally, professionally and spiritually (73.3%); always satisfies care for and serve others (86.7%); always seeing the recovery of a patient suits you and motivates you to keep doing it with enthusiasm (73.3%); always their work contributes directly to the achievement of the objectives proposed in the unit (70%); always every action performed in their job assumes responsibility (86.6%); always the responsibility prevents miss work daily (93.3%), provided the unit allows you to work independently (60%) and to maximize their abilities and qualities (60%). Moreover, the hygiene factors of concern that there is always good communication between co-workers (53.3%) and the group never makes you feel uncomfortable (a) (60%).
