In this article a method to carryout reverse engineering is presented, this can be used by anyengineer in a wide field of applications; such method ismade of thirteen steps and has been very successful inengineering’s teaching experience. A simple application ofthe method is exposed to illustrate its usefulness, theproblem is to duplicate a mechanical model and implies theuse of CAD/CAM computational tools.
