The metal phases were added by impregnation with Co and Ni nitrates, with a constant metal loading of 7 wt%. The catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction, SEM-EDX, N2 adsorption and hydrogen chemisorption techniques. An increase in the catalytic activity and selectivity to H2 were observed incorporating Co.
