Materials and Methods: a sample of 97 students were clinically evaluated to identify any definitive dental charateristic (Missing teeth, Overjet, Crossbite, Dental displacement, Overbite); they underwent also an face to face intraoral aesthetic evaluation. Results: Sample’s average score from dental and aesthetic component was 2,67 and 3,14. A total of 38.14% showed any definitive dental characteristic to orthodontic treatment (most prevalent, missing teeth and overjet greater than 6mm). There was no difference between gender on dental an aesthetic component. Conclusion: There is a borderline treatment need.
