Por eso es urgente que las universidades se dediquen con especial atención a formar recursos humanos destinados a trabajar en procura de mejorar y preservar el medio ambiente y desarrollar por medio de programas y planes el incremento de la conciencia planetaria acerca de este peligro. La Universidad Católica Boliviana tiene en su carrera de Ingeniería Ambiental el puntal específico encargado de aportar al respeto de manera eficiente.
