This research aims to highlight the characteristics of the Research Centers of the Universidad de Los Andes, through a low methodology with a quantitative approach, non-experimental field design, descriptive scope and a census and directed sample. Applying a Likert scale questionnaire, to Directors of 18 Centers. The contribution: the identification of the main characteristics of the Research Centers and the interaction with the ecology of human development.
