It was framed in a quantitative research, the study was of a propositional descriptive type, it included a non-experimental, transectional design. A survey has been carried out in which the following results were found: 60% of academics consider it important that graduates demonstrate theoretical-practical knowledge in automotive mechanics. Furthermore, 80% of them believe that professional performance should be in line with technological advances in the field. 100% of academics also emphasize the importance of continuing training programs.
