A través de un enfoque de investigación cualitativa en el que se analizan problemas públicos planteados por estudiantes a nivel de licenciatura en el Instituto Superior Intercultural Ayuuk (ISIA) ubicado en la localidad de Jaltepec de Candayoc, municipio San Juan Cotzocón en el Estado de Oaxaca, se argumenta que la cartografía social constituye un recurso metodológico y didáctico que tiene como objetivo potenciar la práctica educativa, el análisis de problemas públicos y la construcción de ciudadanía en la región mixe del Estado de Oaxaca.This article aims to understand the importance of social cartography in the educational field and explain how it contributes to the construction of citizenship.
