The authors try to show that Doctor Eximius reveals a deep concern for the human-social aspect of work, approaching in this matter some postulates of modern labor law. In this sense, Suárez’s position differs from that held by other scholastics of the 16th-17th centuries, who limited themselves to discussing the problems of the relationship between work and fair wages within a primarily economic framework.esHumanitiesArtPhilosophyCartographyEl salario justo en los teólogos jesuitas de la segunda escolástica: Luis de Molina, Francisco Suárez y Juan de Lugoarticle
