That to date no systematic  review articles have been found on the subject of study, it is opportune to carry out one that addresses it. The objective of this research is to determine  the attitude and knowledge of dental personnel towards patients with HIV / AIDS based on a systematic review of the literature. Methodology: The search was  carried out through PubMed, ScienceDirect; Virtual Health Library and Google Scholar. Selecting cross-section items. Results: It was verified that the  dental staff shows a good level of knowledge in injuries and means of transmission, in turn there is an attitude of rejection towards this type of infected  patient, it is also observed the implementation of biosecurity in the consultations.
