The supports obtained showed high homogeneity in the aluminum dispersion, a large surface area and a narrow pore size distribution. The synthesized mesoporous mesocellular foam (MCF) supports contain 5%, 10% and 15% Al2O3 in the SiO2 matrix. 12% cobalt was added to these mesostructured supports by the incipient wetness impregnation method. These materials were characterized by Nitrogen adsorption (BET-BJH), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Temperature Programmed Reduction of H2 (TPR), and Temperature Programmed Desorption of NH3. (TPD). According to the structural properties of these catalysts, a promising application in FischerTropsch (FTS) syntheses is identified.enMesoporous materialIncipient wetness impregnationCatalysisMaterials scienceChemical engineeringCobaltScanning electron microscopeDesorptionAdsorptionTemperature-programmed reductionSYNTHESIS OF SILICOALUMINATE MESOPOROUS SUPPORT BY THE ATRANO ROUTE, MORPHOLOGICAL AND ACIDITY PROPERTIES OF THE MESOCELLULAR FOAM, MCF, FOR COBALT CATALYSTS DESIGNarticle
