The objective of this study was to propose improvements in service levels to reduce vehicle congestion at the intersection of Tinkuy - Canada - H. Vásquez - Independencia avenue, in the city of Potosí. It was developed through a quantitative approach, a type of descriptive research and a field design, the information was collected through the observation technique and as an instrument a vehicle capacity record, the object of study is engineering. of urban traffic, the level of vehicular service is identified as a field of action. The results showed that currently the described intersection has a service level “C”.
