During this experiment a one cylinder, spark ignition CFR engine was used, running at constant speed, maintaining a 10 degree spark advance and firing the engine from 0.88 to 1.33 equivalence ratios. A piezoelectric transducer mounted on a combustion chamber was utilized to read the cylinder pressure and send it to the acquisition system. The analysis of the pressure data allowed to see how the engine operation improves at the time the fuel air equivalence ratio reaches the unity (f = 1.00-1.05), getting greater cylinder maximum pressure values, better power development and much less pressure cyclic variation.esPetrol engineCylinderSpark-ignition engineSPARK (programming language)Ignition systemPressure sensorEquivalence ratioAutomotive engineeringPhysicsMechanicsEfectos de la variación de la relación F/A sobre el desarrollo de presión en el interior del cilindro de un MECHarticle
