This work replaced the DDS (Data Distribution Service) infrastructure used to communicate the ContextNet Core nodes with the Kafka platform; simplified the construction of applications that use the ContextNet middleware; and added new features. Kafka is a streaming platform capable of subscribing, publishing, storing, and processing in realtime streams. Using Kafka has enabled applications built on top of ContextNet to be parallelizable.ptUnicastMiddleware (distributed applications)Parallelizable manifoldComputer scienceStream processingService (business)Operating systemEmbedded systemComputer networkDistributed computingREENGENHARIA DO CONTEXTNET UTILIZANDO KAFKAdissertation
