Item type: Item , Cómo se escribe en ingeniería? estudio comparativo entre los ciclos básico y profesional(2014) Yolimar Duque de Duque; Stella Serrano de Moreno; Alix Madrid de ForeroThe aim of the study is to analize the practices of academic writing that prevail on the engineering careers of the University of Los Andes. The testimonies of students from the basic and professional cycles are compared. The research is based on the theoretical contributions of academic literacy (Carlino, 2013) and the socio-cognitive approach of writing (Castello, 2002). It is framed within the qualitative paradigm, it is exploratory and involves 156 students. The results reveal that the development of discursive skills occupies a subsidiary place in the training of engineers. There are a few differences between those who begin their studies and those who culminate their careers, regarding the conceptions of the epistemic function of writing, its relation to the texts and written production practices in which they participate.Item type: Item , Enfoque de escritura subyacente en las orientaciones pedagógicas y didácticas del proyecto canaima educativo(2014) Irene Ramírez Rojas; Alix Madrid de ForeroThe incorporation of digitized resources for learning through the “CanaimaEducation Project” (2009) in the Basic Education Subsystem, motivates the need to study the type of pedagogical and didactic orientations involved in the development of the processes involved in written expression. Therefore, this study proposes to: a. Analyze the pedagogical and didactic orientations that guide the practice of writing in digitized resources for the learning of the CanaimaEducation Project. b. Discuss the current relevance of pedagogical and didactic approaches of writing that prevail in said resources. The research is framed in the qualitative paradigm with a design of content analysis. The results indicate that gramar and content prevail as didactic approaches for teaching how to write, reasons why writing does not respon to the threads of planning, drafting, revising and definitive edition. Thus, in the digitized resources for learning through the Canaima Education Project, the teaching and learning of written expressions is focused on mastering the formal aspects of the texts, such as: the correct use of capitalization, classification of words according to their accents, use of correct punctuation.
