The present scientific work had the purpose of knowing the levels of resilience in preschool teachers of Merida-Venezuela in 2016. Resilience is “the  ability shown by individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to overcome adversity in favor of growth personal “(Anzola, 2004, p.37). In this field research  23 preschool teachers participated, the questionnaire or resilience test of Esqueda y Colina (2002) was applied. The distribution of resilience levels found  was: 30.4% high; 47.8% average; and, 21.8% low. Then, when correlating the levels of resilience with sociodemographic elements, it was found that the people  with greater resilience are: the younger ones; higher level of academic instruction; fewer children; fewer years of service; and, with greater job  satisfaction. Finally, a profile of the graduate is proposed, from a vision of resilience, to guide the process of teacher training in Preschool Education.
