    Corruption and media surveillance of power in Argentina and Peru: The coverage of Clarín and El Comercio during the vaccination scandals against COVID 19

    In Argentina and Peru, the COVID-19 emergency brought corruption scandals related to skipping the line to access the vaccine and its illicit application to political authorities and other figures. From a methodology based on media frames and predominant information source types, this study analyzes how the leading online press media in Argentina and Peru, namely Clarín and El Comercio, reported the scandals, locally known as Vaccine VIP and Vacunagate, respectively.

    El presente estudio se centra en analizar cómo cuatro medios televisivos de España y Chile, han adoptado TikTok como herramienta para difundir el contenido científico. A través de un análisis de las publicaciones realizadas el 2023, se exploran las narrativas visuales utilizadas, clasificando las publicaciones según su tono y estilo, y de este modo relacionar la interacción del público con el tipo de mensaje. Los resultados obtenidos permiten establecer preliminarmente que el tono influye en los índices de engagement con los usuarios, sin embargo, no se pueden descuidar otros elementos como el formato o el contexto de la información.
