Peanut seed drill with sloping disk
(2021) Salvador Claros; Manuel Arce; Lorgio Solís; Edwin Montaño; Cuno Vargas
The project was developed starting off of a machine constructed in Padilla like prototype, and with the objective in that then ones to perform the corresponding tests in field. Once Metal Mecánica in Monteagudo, where at the moment it has been working for two years, the test of the machine was realized. The modifications that employed like east result, were in the majority of the cases done in the work shop, was used like method the experimentation, until being able to fit to the requirements of the peanut producers. The machine has demonstrated to be functional and practical, adaptable to lands of Monteagudo and around, as much so their use either on the part of producers and projects even dedicated to support the producers are using or it. In the accomplishment of the tests all the traditional methods of the context for sowing of the peanut and treatment were used to determine the particular characteristics of each, thus also with the machine as drive of oxen and horse were used, thus also promoted the producers to handle the machine. In conclusion the result is encouraging, the experimentation with machines in this field the agricultural automation in our country is not known nor developed, giving rise to the investigation and innovation.

Validation of the welding procedure with covered electrode in butt joints and flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions
(2021) Salvador Claros; Kenny López; José Pérez de Arce; Lorgio Soliz; Benigno Méndez
This research is about the validation of a process of joints welding with a coated electrode to demonstrate the application in the teaching - learning that if you follow the technique, the penetration of the input material is acceptable. Standard samples are prepared with the corresponding bevel and the execution of the weld root and fill I performed. The theoretical content is developed by a teacher of the subject with a specialty in the area of the weld. In the development of the process, the test tubes are welded with correct and incorrect procedures to verify the target; then the test tubes are broken and the effectiveness of the theory in practice can be verified. The importance of this development is to demonstrate the validation of the process and the academic impact as an incentive to generate skills through a good technique.
