Validation of the welding procedure with covered electrode in butt joints and flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions

Abstract

This research is about the validation of a process of joints welding with a coated electrode to demonstrate the application in the teaching - learning that if you follow the technique, the penetration of the input material is aceptable yestandard samples are prepared with the corresponding bevel and the execution of the weld root and fill I performed. The theoretical content is developed by a teacher of the subject with a specialty in the area of the weld. In the development of the process, the test tubes are welded with correct and incorrect procedures to verify the target; then the test tubes are broken and the effectiveness of the theory in practice can be verified. The importance of this development is to demonstrate the validation of the process and the academic impact as an incentive to generate skills through a good technique.
