Critical discourse analysis : Critical analysis of the oral discourse used by politicians to influence people's attitudes and actions

Abstract

This investigation is centeredd in a critical analysis that, as all critical analysis of discourse, tries to establish some basis for the explanation of the role that political discourse plays for the enacting, re/producing, confirming, legitimating or challenging power relations in society.
