Abstract

The article is a reflection that proposes rethinking educational research from a qualitative perspective. The objective is to describe and understand the different aspects of educational research, the qualitative approach in the field of education; problematize about the design of the plan; explain oral history as a research method in the study of education and reflect on the role of the researcher. In short, it is proposed to think about educational research from a qualitative perspective, on the one hand, because it allows us to understand that the processes of research and construction of knowledge are participatory, collaborative and dialogical; on the other hand, to problematize the researcher's position in the investigation.\nKey words: Qualitative research, education and qualitative approach, research plan, qualitative methods, oral history and education
